Simon Henleywillis received the Fr. Michael Whelan O.P. Award for Faith Development at the recent Annual Awards Ceremony at Christian Brothers’ College, Cork.
The award acknowledges those who do most to further the faith and spiritual development of their fellow pupils. Simon received this award in recognition of his work with the children of Bethel Faith Home on the Friends of Londiani projects Harambee 2005 and Harambee 2007. Simon’s contribution to the projects included; teaching English and computer skills to the children, painting the boy’s house, a special feature of which was a mural of African animals in the living room and working on the summer cam
